Personality
Most often, Souvigne comes off as a rather cold and reserved. When interacting with those who have yet to gain their trust, Souvigne is typically very closed off, cautious really, and can seem a bit distant. It takes them a while to grow used to most people, but once their trust has been earned, their loyalty stands true. Passionate about their beliefs and that which they stand by, they will never be one to back down or hold back, always rising to a challenge no matter what the stakes may be, especially where the safety of the people they care for may be concerned. They are fiercely loyal to those who earn it, and violently protective of the people they deem worthy of their love; the people they allow into their life and trust to see their inner self. Very few get to see who Souvigne is below the hard shell they put out, but those who do find a warm and playful soul, fun and creative with little restriction to their actions and a passion so bright it challenges the sun. They tend to be a bit wild, eccentric some might say, and are rarely one to play by any sort of rules that aren't their own.

- Umbrakinesis - They are capable of controlling the shadows around them, able to shift and manipulate the natural darkness to their whim within a general area. They can shape and alter it as they need, even able to compress it into powerful, cutting streams or physical ropes and tendrils which can coil around people and objects to hold, lift, and even move them as they wish. Through this, they can even create pseudo-weapons and other constructs from condensed shadow.
- Shadow Jumping - They are capable of a limited form of teleportation wherein they can travel through natural shadows, able to walk into any kind of natural darkness and exit anywhere within a mile radius where more shadows lay. The darker and deeper the shadows, the further they can travel, sometimes even able to jump as far as five miles at night.
- Sleep Inducement - They are capable of willing one into sleep through direct eye contact and a simple touch. This sleep is considerably very deep and not easy to be awoken from.

- Sunlight - Like all palumbra, they have a very significant sensitivity to the sun, and cannot meet the suns rays without experiencing extreme pain and physical damage. Too much exposure, and they could even face death.
- Umbrakinesis - They cannot create shadows, only manipulate those which naturally exist, thus, in brighter settings, their power is significantly weaker. Not to mention, the shadows they manipulate can be easily dispersed with light and light-based attacks, magical or otherwise.
- Shadow Jumping - The shadows they travel through must be natural, and must cover enough space for them to become completely engulfed in the darkness. Dark corners and alleyways are generally the best areas to find jump-capable shadows.
- Sleep Inducement - Their power will not work if direct eye contact and physical contact are not made, and will fail to hold if physical contact is broken before an individual is fully asleep. Poor vision, glasses, and even contacts can weaken their influence, and blindness renders their power completely useless. Physical contact has to be direct skin contact as well; a light touch to the arm or a gentle caress of the face.

- While being of the palumbra race, Souvigne does not live by a nocturnal cycle, and rather, has retrained themself to adhere to a mostly diurnal cycle; this is so they can better interact with their solex friends, but also, to help them avoid running in with any other palumbra
- They walk around with a large parasol to protect them from the harmful rays of the sun, and have a habit of using the "accessory" as an improvised weapon, showing no hesitance in swinging it like a club even in broad daylight
- Souvigne takes great advantage of their shadow jumping ability, making it their main form of travel
- On the other hand, they rarely ever use their sleep inducement ability, seeing it as a cruel last resort and nothing more
